Black Sesame porridge recipe

1 cup rice 1/2 cup black sesame 7 cups water 1 tsp salt 1. Soak the rice for a while then strain it. In a blender, put the soaked rice with 2 cups of water and blend till smooth. 2. Dry toast the black sesame briefly, then put in the blender with 1 cup of water and blend till smooth. 3. Combine purred rice and black sesame in a pot, with 4 cups of water over medium heat. Stirring constantly so as not to clump. 4. When it starts to bubble, lower the heat and continue cooking while stirring. It’ll turn into a thick paste. Add salt to taste. Note: soaked rice can be substituted with rice flour if available, add directly to blended sesame with water.
